GreenSpur and XFlow will explore integrating GreenSpur’s Rare Earth-free generator technology into XFlow Energy’s Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT).
The collaboration between GreenSpur and XFlow is the start of a strategic alliance where GreenSpur, as the technology provider, is poised to design a Rare Earth-free generator solution tailored for XFlow Energy’s Wind Turbine. Following successful testing, GreenSpur will subsequently provide generator technology and engineering support for XFlow Energy’s next phase, involving the production of 25 turbines in 2025.
At the heart of this collaboration is GreenSpur’s groundbreaking Rare Earth-free generator technology, the ONLY permanent magnet generator that can eliminate the most vulnerable of all critical materials, Rare Earth magnets and copper without compromising on performance. Proven through rigorous testing at the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult in Blyth, UK, this generator, designed to lower cost and mitigate critical materials’ supply chain risks, aligning seamlessly with XFlow Energy’s commitment to reducing the cost of renewable energy through innovative technologies.
